Birth and women’s health are passions of mine. I believe in the process of birth and have felt it so many times in its natural flow. At the age of 9, I was present for my aunties homebirth, where both my uncle and her midwife attended her. I felt the normalcy of this process then and now know it well. It has felt right in my bones for many moons.
When I learned of my pregnancy with my son Maxwell in 2002, I chose a homebirth midwife as well. I have been imbedded in the homebirth community since my pregnancy Maxwell.
I have attended women and their families at over 100 births in the last seven years of formal training.
I am married to Joseph and am the proud mother of Maxwell Xavier, and they both support me in midwifery immensely.
